The Perfect Touch Event - March 24th, 2009

The Perfect Touch event on March 24th, 2009 at the Mansion on Main Street was a smashing success! This special evening was designed to assist those holding an upcoming event at the Mansion to create of an affair to remember. As grand as the event was, it was merely a sampling of the Mansion’s ability to customize everything to suit the host’s requests from the designing of menus to table settings.

Each guest was paired to a Mansion staff member to facilitate any questions they might have as they toured the food and beverage tasting stations that lined the newly renovated Windsor Ballroom. As they explored the room guest got the chance to savor some of the exquisite culinary dishes by Chef Mirko Loeffler, the Mansion’s incredible Executive Chef. Beyond the delectable taste of each dish the presentation of the food was absolutely phenomenal. It was a case of the food looking as amazing as it tastes. You could see and taste the Mansion Culinary Staff’s incredible labor of love in every detail.

There were 11 different food themed stations the guests could enjoy ranging from a Vegetable Antipasto Display to The Mansion’s Martini Bar complete with ice luge sculpture. One of the biggest hits of the evening was the unique crab martini station which was an elegant boutique of martini glasses full of fresh crab meat set over micro greens and topped with a light béarnaise sauce. Another successful martini inspired creation was the Mashed Potato Martini Bar. At this station guest filled a martini glass with Yukon Gold, Purple, or Sweet Potato puree upon which they could brim over with their favorite toppings including caviar. One other hot spot was the Carving Station, featuring On both a Honey Ham encased in a scrumptious Bread Crust and a Salmon roll wrapped in a flaky, buttery pastry. The other hors d'oeuvres stations included a Fresh Chef Seared Tuna Station, a sweet and spicy Jamaican Jerk Station, and an elaborate Sushi Display like no other.

Amongst the dessert stations were a Coffee and Cordials Display, a diverse Viennese Dessert Display, and a made-to-order Flambé station. The Flambé station was staffed to serve either Bananas Foster or Cherries Jubilee straight from the skillet on top of creamy vanilla ice cream. But, don’t forget the cake. The Viennese Dessert display consisted of the most spectacular bite sized desserts ranging from chocolate covered strawberries to an amazing variety of flavorsome cakes.

Tucked amid the flavorful displays were stunning centerpiece examples created by local florist, some of which are Penncora Productions, Millennium Flowers & Gifts, Michael Bruce, Jacqueline’s Flowers & Gifts, In Full Bloom, Leigh Florist, and A Bouquet of Flowers. Each of the floral arrangements was eye-catching and elegant in their own unique way. They were bold examples of some of the most remarkable floral arrangements to make any event more spectacular.

The entire event was a huge success satisfying both attendees and The Mansion on Main Street staff.

We look forward to the Mansion’s next event and hope to see you there!
